Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms cover your use of Hayes (hellohayes.ai), built and operated by Aaron Dence ("we," "us"). By using Hayes you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Hayes. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

2. What Hayes does

Hayes is an AI assistant for UX, design and product work. It reviews screenshots, suggests ranked fixes, generates mockups and writes product requirement documents. Hayes is in early access: features may change, and access is by invitation.

3. Your account

• Sign in with an email address or Google account that belongs to you.
• Keep your account secure. You're responsible for what happens under it.
• We may suspend or end access that breaks these terms or puts Hayes or others at risk.

4. Acceptable use

Please don't:

• Upload content you don't have the right to share.
• Upload passwords, payment details or other sensitive personal information about anyone.
• Use Hayes for anything illegal, harmful or deceptive.
• Try to get around rate limits, access controls or security measures.
• Scrape, overload or reverse engineer the service.

5. Your content

You own what you put into Hayes and what Hayes produces for you. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to provide the service, including sending it to our AI provider. We don't use it to train AI models.

6. AI output

Hayes's answers come from AI models and can be wrong, incomplete or similar to answers others receive. Review recommendations, mockups and PRDs before you rely on them or ship them. You're responsible for the decisions you make with them.

7. Our property

The Hayes name, brand, software and design belong to us. Some specialist prompts are adapted from open-source projects under the MIT license, and their authors are credited in our notices. You may not copy or resell Hayes without our written permission.

8. Availability

We work to keep Hayes available, but we don't guarantee uptime. It depends on third-party services and may be interrupted for maintenance or changes.

9. Disclaimer and liability

Hayes is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Hayes. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for Hayes in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Ending use

You can stop using Hayes at any time and ask us to delete your data. We may end or change the service; if we shut it down, we'll give signed-in users reasonable notice so they can save their work.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, let signed-in users know. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
